The Hubs embody a move towards more collaborative working. For Citizens Advice Gateshead they are about creating opportunities to reach out to underrepresented communities who would not traditionally engage with the service.
“SIGNAL will help me take a more holistic approach to getting to the bottom of what challenges people are facing in their lives and to help achieve our objective to support people to have a life well lived”
This pilot is part of a place-based programme called the Gateshead Futures Network, supported by the Lankelly Chase Foundation (https://lankellychase.org.uk/) who describe the Network as “a place for people to come together from across the system to think about what the future could look like and to build relationships across organisations and sectors to do things differently”.
We recognise the significance of the experience and knowledge that Citizens Advice Gateshead can bring to the table, and we’re looking forward to working alongside them to explore how, by listening to and learning from citizens, together we can “do things differently”
