We have been working closely with a number of our SIGNAL partners who are re-imagining how they will be delivering their services as they navigate their way through the next phase of the pandemic and beyond.

“Whilst we are gearing up for the return of face-to-face meetings, providing services remotely will be a permanent feature and therefore adopting a blended approach is at the heart of our plans.

“At the same we recognise that SIGNAL is becoming ever more important as a tool that can really engage people at this time of profound transition when it is very difficult to anticipate how Covid has affected people’s lives” says Gillian Hewitson, the CEO of Newcastle Futures

Gillian is a well-established SIGNAL partner and we have worked with her to trial the various options that are available for remote facilitation.  Going forward, it means that she can guarantee that Newcastle Futures’ services are as inclusive as possible, taking account of people’s circumstances where face-to-face is not possible.
